Āmantā . hañci sārīputto thero na parihāyittha arahattā no vata re vattabbe parihāyati arahā arahattāti . mahāmoggallāno thero ... Mahākassapo thero ... Mahākaccāyano thero ... [247] Parihāyati arahā arahattāti . āmantā . nanu vuttaṃ bhagavatā uccāvacā hi paṭipadā samaṇena pakāsitā na pāraṃ diguṇaṃ yanti nayidaṃ ekaguṇaṃ mutanti attheva suttantoti . āmantā . tena hi na vattabbaṃ parihāyati Arahā arahattāti.

[248] Parihāyati arahā arahattāti . āmantā . atthi chinnassa chediyanti . na hevaṃ vattabbe . atthi chinnassa chediyanti. Āmantā. Nanu vuttaṃ bhagavatā vītataṇho anādāno kiccaṃ yassa na vijjati chinnassa chediyaṃ natthi oghapāso samūhatoti attheva suttantoti . āmantā . tena hi na vattabbaṃ atthi chinnassa chediyanti.

[249] Parihāyati arahā arahattāti . āmantā . atthi katassa paṭicayoti . na hevaṃ vattabbe . atthi katassa paṭicayoti. Āmantā. Nanu vuttaṃ bhagavatā tassa sammāvimuttassa santacittassa bhikkhuno katassa paṭicayo natthi karaṇīyaṃ na vijjati selo yathā ekaghano vātena na samīrati evaṃ rūpā rasā saddā gandhā phassā ca kevalā iṭṭhā dhammā aniṭṭhā ca nappavedhenti tādino ṭhitaṃ cittaṃ vippamuttaṃ vayaṃ cassānupassatīti attheva suttantoti . āmantā . tena hi na vattabbaṃ atthi katassa paṭicayoti.
